| | Conan | ] | So, I figured I'd write an entry to fill in the blanks for the few people who are still lj addicts (andy, nikki, lola, rowie, you know who you are). Summer went well and actually turned out to be rather eventful for a lazy Summer. I worked in Technology most of the Summer, which I didn't enjoy, but the copy center is even more stressful (i'm in the copy center now). I somehow managed to sell Barney to a coworker whose POS Ford Tempo broke down for the umpteenth time (you reading this, jin?). I somehow taught her to drive it (her POS Tempo was a slushbox) and she was driving alright by August. The Maxima has been nice, but I had to fix the brakes and I've done some preventative maintenance to keep him in good shape, such as new radiator coolant, new tranny gear oil, new stereo, new tires (changed them the first week I had the car back in April), new shift knob, new rear speakers, new wax, new headlight bulbs and, most recently (last night), I wired in the Infinity Basslink sub I had in the Corolla and Accord. Now, it's always a party in the Black Bull. Highlights from the Summer include Timmy's trip to Hyde Park, my trip to see Timmy in VA, Jin's surprise bday party, random weekends on SI with Andy and the fam, Saratoga/Albania trip and my cousin Christina's wedding out in Connecticut.
As far as this semestre is concerned, I'm done with classes, but I still have some paperwork and the comprehensive exam left before I can get my Master's. Well, I also have to get my Albany transcript resent to New Paltz; how they could have lost that is beyond me, but it's not like they're not known for losing shit over at New Paltz... That said, I miss P&G's with a passion and need to get back there before I lose my mind (again)... |

lj addict in the hizzy, and she has some things to say.
first of all: technology? copy center? it's been a while since you've updated and quite frankly, i don't remember where we last left you. what exactly are you talking about? i think i thought you were working doing something totally different this whole time.
second: and i quote, "but I had to fix the brakes and I've done some preventative maintenance to keep him in good shape, such as new radiator coolant, new tranny gear oil, new stereo, new tires (changed them the first week I had the car back in April), new shift knob, new rear speakers, new wax, new headlight bulbs and, most recently (last night), I wired in the Infinity Basslink sub I had in the Corolla and Accord. Now, it's always a party in the Black Bull." i know you majored in like twelve languages up at UA, but seriously, you're out of control. this is America; speak English.
third: Highlights from the Summer include--going to john's bar with andy for lauren's birthday, obviously. your appearance at my bday party was a very big part of why this year's bday was the best i've had in years. holler!
p&g??

Where the hell have you been? Look at my last real entry; it's from the end of the Spring. That's where I left off. I'm glad you enjoyed our appearance at John's. It was nice to finally meet Joey's sister. Andy and I had fun driving around lost in Queens after leaving. Luckily, we made it to a diner in SI and were smiling again in no time.
UH OH....transcript from Alabny....sounds like someone's going to pay for those parking tickets. Ask Nikki about those Albany library fines for proof that Albany fucks you in the end.
Did you name your old car Barney, or did you sell that dude some big purple stuffed dinosaur? And, if so, what was it stuffed with?
